The Things I Think is the first release from Pete Lambert’s upcoming debut album, slated for release in mid-2023.

An unapologetically sad song, taking inspiration from the worlds of Americana and Folk music, The Things I Think is a ballad of heartbreak, longing and whisky.

“It speaks from a place of longing and loss; of missing a part of your life that can’t be there anymore, for whatever reason. It’s a song about rumination and the difficulty in letting go.”

The Things I Think was recorded and produced in York, UK by Dan Webster and the recording features contributions from such talented musicians as Alex Victoria, Emily Lawler and Sam Jackson.
